Born and raised in Edmonton, Frances has been living in Sturgeon County on a farm for more than 30 years. She experiments with various mediums and styles.  If asked what her favorite painting or style is, Frances will say “whatever I happen to be working on, that’s my favorite”.

Her passion for the countryside is brought out in many landscape paintings and her farm life surroundings are frequently her subject matter.

Aside from being an artist, Frances maintains the farm alongside her husband.  With their 4 children grown and moved out, she has lots of space to dedicate to her art.  Her collection is ever growing since she is driven to create every day that she can spare the time.  Frances belongs to many art groups and organizations and tries to take an active role, whenever possible.
